Wangelin’s Auto Truck Giveaway — Official Rules

The Wangelin’s Auto Truck Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Wangelin’s Auto LLC, located at 2272 W River Dr, Davenport, Iowa 52802. By entering, participants agree to follow these Official Rules and accept the Sponsor’s decisions regarding the administration of the Giveaway.

1. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Iowa and Illinois who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who have a valid driver’s license or are otherwise legally eligible to take title to the prize vehicle.

No purchase, payment, donation, financing application, test drive, or other transaction with Wangelin’s Auto is required to enter or win.

 2. Giveaway Dates

The Giveaway begins **September 23rd** and ends **September 29th**. Entries submitted outside of this period will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter

There are two ways to enter:

-Social Media: Publicly share the Giveaway post, include #WangelinsAuto, then return to the original post and comment “DONE.”

-Website: If you do not use social media, you may enter through wangelinsauto.com.

There is no entry fee, and each eligible person may submit one entry during the Giveaway Period.

4. Prize

One winner will receive a 2004 Ford F-150, with an approximate retail value of $2,000.

There is no cash alternative or prize substitution unless the Sponsor determines one is necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control that make the advertised prize unavailable.

 5. Winner Selection

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

The drawing is anticipated to take place live on the podcast at 9:30 AM on September 30th.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

6. Winner Notification & Verification

The potential winner will be contacted using the information provided with their entry.

The winner may be required to provide:

- Proof of identity and eligibility

- An affidavit of eligibility

- A liability/publicity release where permitted by law

- IRS documentation

- Other documents reasonably necessary to transfer ownership of the vehicle

The potential winner must respond within 24 hours of the Sponsor’s first attempted notification. Failure to respond, verify eligibility, complete required documents, or otherwise comply with these rules may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

The winner is responsible for all pickup, towing, and transportation costs. The truck must be picked up within 10 business days after verification.

7. Taxes, Title & Registration

The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, as well as title, registration, licensing, and other applicable fees, except for any amounts specifically stated by the Sponsor as included with the prize.

The value of the truck may be considered taxable income. The Sponsor may require the winner to complete an IRS Form W-9 and may issue the winner and applicable tax authorities the appropriate tax documentation.

8. Vehicle Condition

The vehicle will be awarded “as is,” subject to any applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

The Sponsor makes no additional warranties or representations about the vehicle except those expressly stated in these Official Rules or required by applicable law.

9. Publicity

Where permitted by law, accepting the prize gives Wangelin’s Auto permission to use the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, city and state of residence, and statements about the Giveaway for reasonable advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

10. General Conditions

Wangelin’s Auto may disqualify anyone who:

- Attempts to manipulate the entry process

- Submits fraudulent or duplicate entries

- Provides false information

- Violates these Official Rules

The Sponsor may also suspend, modify, or cancel the Giveaway if fraud, technical problems, legal requirements, circumstances beyond its reasonable control, or other conditions materially affect the integrity or proper administration of the Giveaway, subject to applicable law.

11. Release & Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Wangelin’s Auto LLC and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize.

Nothing in these rules is intended to waive any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

12. Governing Law

The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
